• Spring has arrived! Along with the nicer weather, our class will be going outside to enjoy spring. Please remember to have your child wear a sweater or sweatshirt because it is cool in the classroom in the morning

• Your child brought home two field trip slips. Please sign them and return to school as soon as possible.

• At conference time, I handed out summer school registration forms. I do need to have those back whether or not your child is attending summer school. Please fill them out if your child will be attending summer school. If your child will not be attending summer school, please send me a note.

• Math: We are currently working with money. We are using calculators to add and subtract money but we will also be practicing without calculators. Please continue to practice having your child count money and to figure out the change.

• Writing: The students just picked their topic for their nonfiction writing. We are going to write an all-about book on a community worker. Please ask your child what their topic is.
